Defense Counsel
Since May 15, 2010 Fitzpatrick & Hunt, Tucker, Collier, Pagano, Aubert, LLP have been the ABC Defense Counsel. Prior to that date, Mendes & Mount performed that role and they still continue to handle Toxic Claims for ABC. Fitzpatrick & Hunt et al. has one of the largest and most experienced aviation legal defense staffs in the United States, fully capable of responding to claims and litigation on a worldwide basis. Many of the attorneys in its aviation and space department have engineering backgrounds and piloting experience. Fitzpatrick & Hunt et al. also utilizes one of the most extensive networks of experienced local defense counsel, who are selected with the participation of the ABC insured, as well as a full complement of seasoned consultants and expert witnesses in all aspects of aviation, space and other relevant scientific disciplines.

Claims and Litigation Management
ABC's Defense Counsel works closely with ABC insureds in the following areas:

- Post accident product teardowns, inspections and testing.
- Liaising and interfacing with government agencies.
- Drafting and reviewing service bulletins, warranties and contract language.
- Defense of claims and litigation.
- Online access to individual client's most recent claims data.
Product Liability and Loss Prevention
Seminars for ABC insureds covering this important issue are provided by ABC's Defense Counsel as a complimentary service.
The seminars are conducted at the insured's facility and focus on the specific needs and topics of particular interest to each ABC insured.

- Litigation from inception through the appeal process
