GARY FITZPATRICK & JIM HUNT

Gary Fitzpatrick and Jim Hunt of Fitzpatrick, Hunt & Pagano, LLP announced their year-end retirements at the ABC 2023 Annual Conference.  The Fitz/Hunt firm has been the lead counsel for the ABC Program since 1985.

In addition to handling the defense of claims and litigation of the numerous diversified companies insured under this Program, Gary has been instrumental in providing claims prevention services to these companies, including product liability seminars.

For companies manufacturing commercial product lines, these seminars also cover important subjects including active product integrity programs; contractual reviews; document management; post-sale responsibilities and warnings and other preventative measures. These seminars are conducted at each company’s facilities across the United States as well as abroad.

Gary has also spearheaded the ABC conference committee for over 30 years; helping to select the highest caliber of speakers for us to enjoy. 

He has been a dedicated ambassador of the ABC Program and we are thankful for his years of service to the ABC.

Jim Hunt, and his team, oversee all ABC program claims and litigation across the U.S. and the world. With his background as a military helicopter pilot, Jim is an expert trial lawyer in aerospace product liability litigation and has used his experience and depth of knowledge to support ABC for more than 30 years.

Jim is a frequent lecturer at legal seminars and his advice is sought by many clients on issues related to loss prevention, contractual protections, and litigation. He has been an instructor on legal subjects at the USC Aviation Safety Course. Jim has been designated as an Outstanding Advocate by the Public Council Law Center Children’s Rights Project, has been rated AV for many years by Martindale Hubbell.

We have appreciated Jim’s insights and dedication for more than three decades and ABC was delighted to recognize Jim during the 2023 ABC Annual Conference.
